Year in review 2022
2022 has been a year when we were proud to support old and new clients refocus, re-engage and re-embrace live events. We have also boosted our team with some amazing new talent and invested in a range of new video, lighting, audio and scenic kit. These investments have helped us deliver some unforgettable events. We have been lucky enough to visit 18 cities within 6 countries. In fact, if we put together all the cables we have used this year end to end it would reach the same height as four Mount Everest’s! No month has been dull and we thought we share a cross section of the type of events and projects that clients asked for our help.A few project highlights
February saw us send our project manager Emma off to our first event at an MOD base, to support a showcase of the latest innovate technology. In April we had the return of one of our highlights from previous years. Under the leadership of our Head of Production Sam, we delivered a huge Saturday-night TV style multi site live stream and in person event for one of our long standing global automotive clients. June was one of the busiest months in chameleon’s history and saw us send teams to all corners of the UK as well as Portugal and Germany. This month saw us deliver high end exhibition stands with a built-in fire machine, a fashion show, conferences, awards dinners and one ice-cream cart! Our friends at entec approached us in September to create some bespoke dollys for their sub speakers to help with load ins and outs for a concert tour. We put our new CNC machine to use to create these. In October our set department took centre stage producing bespoke stands for an influencer event in London for a major US social media site. The whole team got involved at some point in the warehouse assembling furniture. As the weather got colder in November, we sent a team off to sunny Spain for a European conference for one of our fashion clients.Happy clients
What is most important is the feedback we received from happy clients. Alongside delivering our events, we have welcomed new staff in our projects, production and finance teams. We have also invested in a range of new kit including a CNC machine, refreshed our lighting stock so that they are all LED fixtures and invested in new cameras and screens. We also gained our Safe Contractor Accreditation. In summary we look back at 2022 with pride and we want to thank our clients for trusting us to deliver their projects and our suppliers for consistently delivering quality we can rely on.
