We love a party and a challenge
Every year, Pride parades across the UK burst into the streets with colour, energy and joy. And behind some of the most eye‑catching, conversation‑starting floats, you’ll find the Chameleon Live team—designing, engineering, and delivering bespoke structures that don’t just look incredible, but tell a brand’s story with impact.
We specialise in transforming bold ideas into unforgettable experiences. Whether it’s a fully custom-built float or an immersive brand activation, our team blends creativity, craftsmanship, and technical know‑how to make it happen.
Nowhere is that more evident than in the corporate Pride floats we’ve proudly delivered for some of the world’s most recognisable brands including Bloomberg, Merck/MSD and Mercedes-Benz.
Why brands and agencies choose Chameleon Live for custom builds like Pride
We build everything from scratch – custom structures, bespoke scenic elements, integrated lighting, sound, and more.
We understand brand storytelling – every float or structure is designed to communicate, not just decorate.
We handle the full journey – concept, design, fabrication, logistics, installation, and on-the-day support.
We know Pride – from London to regional parades, we understand the requirements, regulations, and the spirit of the celebration.
When you work with us, you’re not just getting a float or structure. You’re getting a brand experience that connects, celebrates and stands out.
London Pride 2025 case studies
London Pride 2025 was a powerful cultural moment — a record‑breaking celebration that brought together organisations, communities and over 1 million people on one of the world’s most visible public stages. For global brands like Bloomberg and MSD/Merck, participation wasn’t a marketing exercise. It was a meaningful expression of values, culture, and commitment to the LGBTQ+ community.
Chameleon Live was commissioned separately by both organisations to design and build them a completely unique Pride float conveying their brand’s tone and visual language. The result: two high‑impact, culturally resonant moving experiences that stood out along the entire parade route.
Designing From First Principles
Each float demanded a bespoke approach. Our team had to think creatively and technically from the ground up to ensure every design decision authentically represented the client while respecting the wider cultural context of Pride.
This meant:
- Developing distinct creative identities for each float
- Ensuring all structures were road‑legal and parade‑ready
- Engineering platforms capable of supporting large groups of dancing team members
- Integrating mobile DJ booths, audio systems, lighting, and power
- Designing for sightlines, performer interaction, and audience engagement
- Managing complex stakeholder communication, including one of the clients doing a rebrand mid‑build
All of this was conceived, designed, built, and delivered from scratch in just three months.

Delivering under pressure — flawlessly
Operating in Central London added another layer of complexity: strict access windows, tight compliance requirements, and zero tolerance for failure on the day. Pride is a fully live, unscripted public environment with no rehearsal, huge crowds, and international visibility.
Despite these challenges, both floats:
- Performed flawlessly
- Delivered strong, consistent visual impact
- Operated with full technical reliability
- Received overwhelmingly positive feedback from clients, participants, and audiences
This wasn’t just a successful delivery — it was a moment that mattered. A demonstration of how creative interpretation, technical production, and cultural awareness can come together to create something meaningful.
Impact beyond the parade
With over 1 million attendees, hundreds of thousands lining the route, and significant national and international media coverage, both floats achieved reach far beyond the streets of London. They became part of internal celebrations, external communications, and the wider cultural visibility of Pride.
Both projects delivered against five key KPIs:
- Authentic, bespoke Pride floats that represented and amplified brand values and inclusion objectives
- High employee engagement, reinforcing internal pride and advocacy
- Strong visibility along the parade route and in post‑event communications
- Safe, compliant, fault‑free delivery in a complex public environment
- On‑time, on‑brief execution across all design and build elements
Two global brands. Two unique creative visions. One shared purpose — delivered in parallel, without compromise.
