Event Details
- Venue: Tobacco Dock, London
- Client: PwC
- Event type: Immersive corporate event / business change & training
- Delegates: 3,660 (1,200 per day over 3 days)

The Brief
PwC was implementing new HR and finance software as part of a wider business transformation programme. Success depended on more than technical training — employees needed to understand the change, believe in it, and adopt it together.
Key objectives included:
- Inspiring confidence and optimism about change
- Encouraging engagement and shared ownership
- Providing practical, hands-on learning
- Demonstrating how technology would support future ways of working
Our challenge was to deliver a high-energy, motivational experience that made change feel exciting rather than intimidating.
The Concept
We designed a fully immersive journey that catapulted delegates into the future.
The experience combined:
- Large-scale LED environments to visualise the future workplace
- Musion holograms to deliver high-impact leadership messaging
- VR experiences for learning, wellbeing and exploration
- Digital escape rooms and interactive workshops to encourage collaboration and hands-on engagement
Rather than isolating technology as a novelty, every element was integrated into the narrative of change, ensuring relevance, clarity and emotional impact.
A New Frontier: Immersion at Scale
Delegates entered a dramatic central space featuring two 11m x 2.5m LED walls, surrounding them with content that explored the future of work and communication.
The centrepiece was a holographic welcome from PwC UK Senior Partner and Chairman Kevin Ellis, seamlessly synchronised with supporting visual content across the LED environment.
As one attendee observed, the experience was so compelling that senior leaders returned multiple times to watch it again — a clear signal of its impact.
Supporting Learning & Adoption
Beyond spectacle, the event was carefully structured to support real learning and behaviour change.
Delegates moved through:
- Technology-enhanced workshops
- Collaborative breakout sessions
- Relaxation and wellbeing zones
- Informal networking spaces
Virtual Reality was used both for practical demonstrations and mindfulness sessions, while interactive activities encouraged peer-to-peer discussion and confidence building.
The result was a dynamic flow between inspiration, education and reflection, keeping energy levels high and content fresh throughout the day.
The Delivery
From the moment delegates arrived, the experience was designed to feel seamless and purposeful.
Our team:
- Directed all technical and production partners
- Designed and built immersive scenic environments in-house
- Delivered complex AV, LED, VR and holographic systems reliably at scale
- Managed content, transitions and delegate flow across multiple spaces
The event balanced large-scale production with human-centred design, ensuring delegates felt both excited and supported as they navigated the experience.
The Outcome
The event successfully:
- Shifted perceptions around business change
- Increased confidence in new systems and processes
- Encouraged collaboration and shared ownership
- Demonstrated how technology can enable better ways of working
By turning a software rollout into a memorable shared experience, PwC created momentum that extended well beyond the event itself.
Our Approach
At Chameleon, we use technology only where it adds meaning. For this project, every tool — from holograms to VR — served a clear purpose: to communicate change, inspire belief, and drive adoption.
As our Production Manager put it:
“It wasn’t about individual technologies standing alone — everything had to work together as one experience.”
